have worked as a charge hand for 11 years working nights on motorways and losing 4 lads in one night to an idiot driver who thought it was safe to speed no i dont thing you need to be a sadist you just need to pray that drivers stick to the speed limit and watch the road infront of them

Road workers are like badgers, usually found lying at the side of the road as people stare and point in disbelief that they've actually seen one.

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Occasional "stop-go" board man here. Also did dome work on the A338 out of Bournemouth a couple of years ago. I was having my lunch near the roundabout at the junction with the A31 and moved back away because I`d seen so many near misses as traffic "slowed" for the roundabout.
