I won't go into detail but someone I was chatting to has threatened to contact my son through Facebook & send him my Fab photos.

Doubt he'll do it but I'm feeling sick, angry & bloody stupid.

Why do some men think that this is acceptable just because I said no??

I had something similar and ended up deleting my profile

Can you lock down your profile (hide it /make it hidden from search engines) + photos (make them friends) . Also block him and report to admin

Sounds like this person can’t take rejection. If anything does happen he will be prosecuted.

I was meeting a guy a long time ago and he got very overly clingy and creepy and threated another guy who I was meeting-this guy was married and lived in the same area. The guy threated to tell his wife if I kept seeing him. I of course called it all quits with the creepy guy. He then managed to find my mum on Facebook and messaged her!

Telling her I was on fab and met guys for sex etc.

Thankfully my mum was just relived i had blocked all contact with him. But it really shuck me up and I'm now much more careful about who I tell what to. Xx

Horrible.

Even him threatening to do that is a criminal offence which you should report.

Thing is though, if he ever did do it which is doubtful then after you get over the initial embarrassment it’s fine and forgotten in time.

He’ll always be a nasty piece of shit with no morals.

These are the pitfalls of this site, too many weirdos, fuckwits and stalkers here, both male and female. Good tips are never have photos on here that are also on social media sites, as people can Google search them and find your real details.

The Sentencing Council included the ‘threat to disclose intimate material or sexually explicit images’, within its guideline for offences under the Communications Act 2003. Black mail is also a serious crime in the UK and is covered by the 1984 Theft Act...

Take screenshots of any threats including the username and date/time. Any act that occur will be subject to imprisonment for 2yrs.

If there are laws against it, then threatening it will possibly also be an offence. It's totally out of order and a scummy thing to do to someone. No wonder single guys get a bad reputation with clowns like this around.

Sending pictures like that to a child, who I assume is still a minor would be illegal, then you have the revenge porn laws which he is also probably going to fall foul of.

I'd be tempted to report him to the police, admin are limited to banning him from the site, which wouldn't be too hard to circumvent with a new email address and a vpn...

He might still do it. Some people either don't care or are mentally ill. Best case scenario, you can call them out and they fold, but don't ever assume that because it's illegal people won't do it.

That said, there are enough coppers on here one assumes the service at large would take such things seriously, because in all honestly it's reprehensible and a massive breech of trust.

As others have said, the damage can be fine by then though. Case in point, there's a guy in Bristol who routinely posts photos and videos of his ex wife to various sites. That said, I can't tell if she's in on it as I met her on a legit dating site last year and loads of stuff didn't add up...

Unbelievable! Why some people take rejection so badly is beyond me. The trying to mentally hurt someone because they didn't get their own way is something I can never get my head around, like why would they want to go out of their way to cause someone distress? How does that make them feel better about their self's?

That is blackm. For peace of mind I suggest you report this to the a Police. This is disgusting behaviour. What you do in your private life is your own affair. Say to the police you have been threatened with blackm and keep the threads messages. It is a very serious offence.

Send him a clear message tell him.if he does contact any of your family members or shares your pictures you will get the law involved and get him done for Harassment and black mailing because without your consent he connot share your pictures with anyone or post them on any site It has been a criminal offence in England and Wales since 2015 and is currently punishable by up to two years imprisonment. any under the revenge porn act Just take screenshot of the conversation if hes got any sense he will back off x
