My gorgeous girl died two almost two years ago. She was the most amazing hound ever. Died of a benign tumor that grew too large and she was too old to operate. I held her as they administered the injection and I still feel guilty to this day.

One of the most hurtful things is seeing my little boy with his new dog that his mum and new boyfriend have got, as although he remembers our girl it will never be the same.

Take away point, I miss my girl

I have a massive black lab, for various reasons he was gifted to us from the lab rescue charity. He is my boys assistance dog. He is totally shot away and definitely missing a brain but he is addicted to beer and dry roasted peanuts thanks to Andy..... (Andy only ever dips his finger in his beer for the dog so no harm) Andy says he is much like me with no brain, i don't see it personally lol

I’m sad to report that she’s still chewing shoes etc but has now at least desisted from chewing the sofa and chair legs. I’ve been told that with some Labs, the chewing behaviour can continue until two and a half years (You have some time to go yet)

Never barks and likes nicking socks and must have been beaten badly before because it took him over a year to relax and chill.
