Its be a while since I started a thread but my life is so quiet at the moment and im missing live music so lets have a music thread

to get us excited for when the crowds can return, to discover new music or remember old favourites we've not heard in a while.

So with that in mind what's everyone listening to at the moment?

Who are you looking forward to seeing post lock down?

Rock city are looking for an investor/buyer, would be great if someone could turn it back into the venue it used to be, all the best bands before they were famous

So many great venues will be struggling so badly at the moment, just hope for grassroots music that most of them survive this pandemic. I've never been to Rock City but I know its reputation

Keep the suggestions coming

I've spent the past hour or so listening to Bob dylan at budokan, its a good live album

He's wrote a quite a few good songs, even if his singing of them isn't the best version of each of them

Agreed. It's turned to shit these past 20 years. But I suppose the same could be said of the UK music scene.

Sam Fender for me this afternoon.

This weekend will be particularly hard as I'm missing my annual weekend festival (I imagine a lot of us are!) - just looking forward to being on a desk with tunes blaring out of speakers soon!
