With wind speed of 150mph

I am so glad we don’t experience this type of weather phenomenon in the U.K.

never been in a hurricane. But have experienced the Asian equivalent a typhoon, they are brutal forces of nature.

One minute weather was hot and sunny, I could see something float up off a roof about a mile down the road, within minutes I was in a typhoon which flooded Shanghai area about 8 yrs ago

It must be so terrifying to be over there, to have it described as unsurvivable, and to have to leave, not knowing what will be left

Can you imagine this happening to say Portsmouth across to Brighton
