"Mine was a Motorola Micro Tac and it would have been about 1994 or 95. It was one of the first to run on the digital network so it was more secure than the previous analogue ones. I was on the Cellnet network and my number is still the same, other than when they changed 0410 into 07710 all those years ago It had a battery that lasted all day as long as you didn’t use the phone, a little plastic aerial that you had to pull up and a new feature - SMS so you could send a text message!
