KIDLINGTON

In this day and age we all seem very good at telling people when customer service has been poor or we are not happy with something.

But are you any good at pointing out good services or going out of your way to tell a manager etc..

Today I had a great experience at cost co and asked to see a manager to tell them how pleased i was with their team. He seem genuinely surprised and thanked me as not many people do this..

I deal with complaints at work, so I make a point of praising great service/work when I'm out and about.

I've always found it hard to complain to customer service, mainly because I know the person I'm speaking to isn't responsible for it.

I do, however, praise as much as I can to make their day a little better

I emailed Cost Co about how they were dealing with the pandemic and the cleanliness of the store. They emailed back and sent me some vouchers.

I love praising. I’m quick to complain if it warrants it but feels it’s only fair to reward good service.

I did it to Byron burgers once and they sent me a load of Byron bills

I’m just home from praising some excellent service people and I also showed my appreciation with an overpayment

When i bought my TV, i wrote to the store manager praising the young sales guy for an excellent job, he told me he was hoping to make a career working at curry's.

So i tried to help him along!

I work in retail myself so understand how necessary it is to make someone feel their work/job is appreciated. So yes - I offer praise far more often than criticism! X

Yes. I'm more likely to pass on genuine praise than I am a complaint x
