Feeling left out

My bubble fwb is hosting another friend for a few days this week.

I see her quite regularly and this other guy has travelled along way to see her, so I have no problem with it.

But still I'm a bit jealous that SOMEONE ELSE IS HAVING FUN WITH HER RIGHT NOW ... and I'm STUCK HERE WRITING THIS.

All I can say is roll on FRIDAY

it's a weird old feeling isn't it.

Like, you don't want them not to be enjoying themselves, but at the same time you want them to hate it, stop what they're doing and come begging cap in hand coz they made a mistake and you're the only person they want.

Just me then

In my defence, my head got messed with and I was told one thing often yet got given very different signals by behaviour displayed.

I completely understand this. It's why I could never go down the FWB route as I'm not sure I could stop myself from getting 'feelings'!

Life isn't easy thats for sure

It's obvious really, she's breaking the rules. Like I said earlier, it was her decision and she felt the circumstances were right. She had agreed not to play if I didn't want her to, and the guy would have been ok with this too. Either way he's still staying at her house, so the rules are broken.

I'm not casting stones at her for it.

So she is breaking the restrictions rules?. Not sure she will thank you for telling hundreds of us on the forums.

But it isn't just her decision. It is against government guidelines, so how can you say the circumstances felt right ?

If I had a bubble FWB and he decided to meet someone else, I'd be more concerned about Covid than seeing him again. I wouldn't meet him again, I'd tell him to sod off. But that's just me, I'm following the social distancing guidelines and trying to protect the vulnerable.

You make a good and valid point, but it's not really the point of my post which is about feeling left out.

I'd be happy to start another thread on the criminality/ethics of it if you like?

I understand your feelings OP, and I'm sure many would feel the same...but I'm not sure you're likely to get much sympathy from the legions of people that either haven't got an FWB/partner or haven't been able to see them for the last six long months

Northampton Somewhere

I'd be a bit miffed if my fb was entertaining someone else for a few days but it is what it is! It would make me think twice about meeting them again especially with this bloody virus about.

Some of us haven’t had any sex since before lockdown so don’t feel too hard done by.

It's worth noting there is a very similar thread about having FWB plus another partner etc on here, but from a lady protagonist and no-one has questioned bubbles and other arrangements. I'm sure everything is kosher, but it does seem guys get questioned more directly than ladies.

PS: I am a lady (or female, at least).

I thought the whole point of a fwb was that you're not exclusive to each other. You're friends that sleep together but not committed to a relationship, as there aren't any feelings there. Maybe just a strong liking but nothing else. I can understand the feeling left out but if it really bothers you chat to her or how about you make her your girlfriend. Are you keeping her as your only fwb or have you another??? If you do you might have a cheek being like this . Sorry but this is my view

Is she a swinger or someone you're hooking up with? Regardless though, safety would be a concern for me if she has more than one person in her bubble especially meeting her straight after him, maybe that's just me though?

She can't and that's not what the "bubble" is for just another person breaking restrictions for personal pleasure sticking two fingers up to society.

Reading every thread is not compulsory

Having looked at the other OP , she is not saying her FB is in two bubbles, so it isn't the same as this
