Is there anything you wouldn’t say to someone’s face

That you would dare to say in a message?

Where do you personally draw the line?

Is there even a line for you hypothetically speaking?

Procrastination is better than constant masturbation....

My Own Little World

There are things I wouldn't say in a message that I WOULD say to their face.

If I'm not prepared to say it face to face then I won't send a cowardly message.

Can I ask what out of curiosity?

If it's something critical, then this.

I do find it easier to be explicit about wanting someone in a message though. I have told someone I wanted to fuck their brains out and I would never say that face to face.

Oh, we were mid conversation and it had already turned explicit, that wasn't my opening salvo to a randomer or anything.

I wouldn't say anything rude or nasty. We do not need hate in this world.

id struggle truthfully to tell someone if they had bad body odur or bad breath to their face.

i would though try and broach that subject via a written word though.

id simply feel awkward saying things like that face to face

Haha, you'd have to try much harder for me to take offence!

99% of the FAF messages on here are from me, and one day someone will say yes...

It depends...

If you feel what you are about to say may embarrass the recipient and that is something you would want to avoid, then a message may be best. Sometimes, it's easier to read the truth than to hear it, and as time passes, rather than rewriting history in your head you can read the actuality of the message over and over again. But it does depend on the message.

Equally, you may be about to say something that exposes a personal vulnerability, or say something that may not be reciprocated, or accepted, leading to your own embarrassment or in some cases humiliation. In those circumstances, a message may be a safer option.

I take the view that the most important thing is an honest message is delivered, wether that is face to face or in writing. If it's bad news in particular, the honesty and lack of ambiguity can be respected making the sentiment hard to deny. Sometimes... a shot to the head is kinder than a thousand cuts.

See I don’t understand this?

Just walk away and don’t say anything perhaps?

Tactful. Yeah that’s probably the best way.

I’m too honest.

Plus I think my face says it even if my mouth doesn’t.

I don’t beat around the bush. No point. But I wouldn’t go out my way to be nasty to someone. If you piss me off or I don’t like you, you would definitely know about it.

Can I be honest with you? You have a beautiful face.

Depends who it is, what I have to say and why.

I am a fan of telling it like it is, it doesn't win me any fans and I'm OK with that, but I'm also not a bitch just because I can.

I ignore most shitty messages on here because they usually aren't worth the time or effort that it takes to reply to them.

?

I'm a very direct person, so will say anything to somebody's face that I'm prepared to say in a message. If anything, if it's something personal I'd prefer to do it face to face as body language /intonation etc means that there's less chance of it being misinterpreted

Prefer to say it face to face or aurally.

Translation can be lost in text.

I wouldn't intentionally say something to someone's face, or written, that would be hurtful. Anything I'd say to someone in a message, I would say to their face.

Saying that, it is a very broad question, and factors would be needed taken into account. But on the whole, what I said previous.

if you are purely talking this site there is nothing i would say to someone in message that would not say to face

if you mean in general there are plenty of things i would not say to someone's face or in message as think would cause too much aggro or heartbreak

Being more graphic comes easier by text than in person I'd say. It's not that I'm embarrassed to repeat what I've said by text, just doesn't sound sexy when I say it out loud!
