Looks great, has almost Se7en/Zodiac sort of David Fincher feel to it. ....the bit where he beats the guy up and says "I am vengence" is awesome.

Will be honest though while I'm excited about The Batman I am looking forward to Zack Snyders Justice League even more

Its not an origin story. Apparently he is already Batman by the time film starts.... though may have only been Batman for a year or two.

Can't wait for this!!

I actually love the continuity when he removes his mask and has eye make-up on as well. Every Batman movie we've seen always shows a clean faced Bruce Wayne when he removes it when it was obvious he had make-up on. It's a small thing but it's great to see it addressed for a change. The trailer gave us goosebumps, especially when he pummeled the shit out of that villain.

Nahhhhh. Michael Keaton was massively frowned upon originally when cast and Heath Ledger was ripped apart for being cast as Joker and look at the amazing job he did. I think RP will nail it! I hope he does anyway. It looked promising xx

I get what you mean but it's taken from either the comics or animated series where scarecrow sprays fear gas and Batman overcomes it saying ' I am vengeance, I am the night, I am Batman!'

I enjoyed the trailer, dark as always bringing in the 2 villains and potentially more)(Catwoman), along with the awesome new logo in red. I read somewhere this might not be Bruce Wayne but maybe one of the Robins... I can see that and this film will certainly show Batman's mental state! Excited!

If its a straight up hyper "realistic" version of Batman like the Nolan/Bale was, I'll be less interested. Though will be nice if it runs close to the Year One storylines.

Batman needs to be the most grounded of the Justice League characters, but to be interesting it needs to embrace the spirit that it is still a comic book superhero and use some of the more fantastical villains.

They need to be setting up Under the Red Hood with A Death in the family, or at the very least Killing Joke. Show us part of the character we never have seen.

Hollywood needs to embrace and learn to adapt some of the amazing story lines that already exist instead of giving us poorly written, or hashed together abominations of movies.

As for Rob Pat, his acting ability is definitely on par to pulling it off as both Wayne and the bat, but I'm not sure he has the intimidating presence that is required to be "I am vengeance, I am the night, I am Batman"
