Just thinking out loud here, but does anyone have any opinions on those silhouette profiles that demand a face pic before they will even consider chatting to you? I always think there is a lack of reciprocity there.

I have pictures but tend to not show my face. I prefer to not be recognised away from here.

Lots of people feel the same. Its personal choice.

If I'm chatting to someone, I do expect to share a face pic early on, so as not to waste anyone's time if there's no attraction

The photoless are not a problem. You just avoid them.

It's the profile's that participate in games like FPF. They say they are in but never reciprocate.

It’s the ones with absolutely no images that tend to irk me. I have noticed that some profiles have no profile pic but do have images inside and I do read profiles. I am generally fine if people don’t have pics as one can enjoy chatting and nattering to many different folk. But those that say “show me your face or fuck of!” (I am paraphrasing there lol) without any kind of representation of their own face/body get me a little annoyed lol

Yeah I do; I also mention it (nicely) to them, they then get abusive and it’s surprising how many become UNLOS after a few days.

Sounds like quite a few people get the same

Im never going to reply to a silhouette profile and often won't reply to one without a face pic either.

I like most body types so unless there is either a face to garner my interest or I like how someone is via the forums than a reply without me seeing a face is unlikely.

We ignore shadow profile pics & those with friends only pics. There’s no reason not to have viewable pics - they don’t have to be of naked body parts or face

I show my face (admittedly with a wig and makeup on, although I was recognised on a linked website) so if he, they or she won’t, I cannot see a meet happening.

Like the majority have said, just avoid them if they’re getting meets without pictures, congratulations they’re doing well. If they’re not getting meets due to not having pictures, too bad

I don’t ever show my face got burned long time ago back in 2011 when I was just new to fab

Talked for a week want face pics the minute they got them was blocked and next

Day I got a message form a new profile with noting on it

Telling me to google my fab account name so it did

There was ever pic I had includeing my face pics plastered all over bunch off porn sites

I had to fight tooth and nail to get most off them took down

But there a cupple off porn sites that no matter what legal matter I try I get

Or web page and serevr are chines owned and China dose not abide by any off the U.K. laws so pics will be staying up

Only way I been able to keep them hiden is change my fab user name and never go under that other name or post any old pics from back then not that I would want to

If I google my 2011 account name my pics still come up to this day hard lesson to be learned

Never post anything you don’t want seen by anyone as if someone uploads them to some Chinese prom site they be there for ever

I get recognized from here when out and about least once a week! I get home to find a message on here I saw u out on your bike at such and such place! I'm left the rest of day trying to place them but never do! Only 2 have actually approached me and said I've seen u on fabs lol ! Awkward! X

Neither. Outsider is a long term forum user and usually has a profile pic. She may have chosen to not show them for a while and that's her business.

It's out of order you trying to label her a troll just because you don't know her.

She didn't demand a pic from you she answered your post.

I haven't asked you for a pic either so there isn't any need to name call just because I don't live my profile by your rules.

And that is perfectly fine. I understand that for various reasons folk are unwilling to put their pics up. It’s when they then demand you show them yourself so they can brush you off... that’s when it gets a bit tedious.

I am not name calling or or saying anything of the sort. I am specifically referring to silhouette profiles that specifically demand a face pic before any interaction can occur between said parties. As that poster with the silhouette profile says in their post that is EXACTLY what they do. My conclusion is either sarcasm (tongue in cheek) or trolling (not so tongue in cheek).
