Walking down the only road I've ever known!

Why the hell have a avoided this film for so long, I'm caught up in the moment and random shit statuses keep popping up.

Well it's made an otherwise boring Saturday a little bit better.

East Hull

I haven't seen it, but it's now on my 'to watch' list

I watched 'Rocketman' a few weeks ago, I'm not a fan of Elton John but it was quite an interesting movie

Dubai & Nottingham

It’s a decent film, they could have been a bit braver and got into Freddy's character a bit deeper but it’s alright.

Watched it at the cinema. Enjoyed it.

However I probably learnt more in that dodgy channel 5 docudrama.

I saw it in the cinema and cried like a baby. Also sang along to all the songs - good thing the cinema was quiet!

Essex.

Had a very brief chat with Brian May early this year, wish I had seen the film first, I realised after seeing the film what a missed opportunity I had...

Have you seen the YouTube split screen comparison of the movie Live Aid scene and the real one? Brilliant!

Should be the theme song for this site

“Is this the real life

Is this just fantasy

Caught in a landslide

No escape from reality

Seems just right some how

They fade into obscurity and Freddie Mercury becomes a taxi driver.

Brian May becomes the first guitarist to send a badger to Mars.

The other two stay anonymous.

Cheshire

Thought they insulted Freddie’s memory to be honest, it doesn’t surprise me that John Deacon wanted nothing to do with the film and all of its inaccuracies, so his part in the film was downplayed.

The two band members who helped write the film, decided to rewrite the history as well, to paint them in a better light. For example Freddie didn’t do the first solo album, Roger Taylor did, yet in the film he’s berating Freddie over the band breaking up over it.

Sorry not for me

Farnborough

I’ve seen the film a couple of times now, and love Rammi Malik as Freddie and the music is fab.

As others have alluded to though, there are many historical and chronological inaccuracies that any good Queen fan will know ... but when have you ever seen a film that is accurate!

R xx
