Under the Duvet

I remember seeing Phil on tv as a kid and thinking he was so cool. Those long skinny legs in jeans, the afro, the come to bed eyes and the accent and voice of course.

Visited his grave when I was over that side of Ireland few years bk.

His immortal line;

"is there any ladies in the audience with a little oirish in them?"

Ladies in the audience scream...

"is there any ladies in the audience would loike a liitle oirish in them?"

Much more screaming.......

One of the best live bands I've ever seen.

Did you know when Phil Lynott toured under his own name (as opposed with Thin Lizzy), Huey Lewis was in his band?

Cheshire

I’m one of the few, who thought his solo work was quite good.

Solo in Soho especially, I’ve wandered around that area of London with Phil singing the title song in my ears, several times

He was lead singer of the group Clover who supported them when I saw them at Wolves Civic 1976

I so wish I was around to see them live. Even on the live recording I get shivers when I hear him say that line

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

Found a track on a heavy metal ballad compilation on YouTube the other day...

Thin Lizzy - "Dear Miss Lonely Hearts"

It's got Snowy White on one of the twin lead guitars alongside Scott Gorham!!!! John Sykes was my favourite to be honest. Thin Lizzy Live is a favourite as swell as Thunder & Lightning!

The Boys are back in town, the boys are back in town, I always remember thin lizzy for this song as I did like his electric guitar playing in this song he,s the end of a line of musicians that were worth listening too.
