I was one of the wise men, I wasn't really wise then, and not much wiser now.

We didn’t do the nativity as far as I can remember.

But in both school shows I played the bad guy for one I had to wear a beard haha

I remember telling my teacher how much it itched and she told me to “channel it into my villainy”

I was Prince Charming in a production of Sleeping Beauty.

Only because I was always tall for my age. I have about as much charm and allure as the average sack of potatoes

On a mooch

I was Mary a few times, a bossy one rather than angelic one I’m told.

Gretel - this one I remember one scene we were supposed to drink cod liver oil, all through rehearsals it was apple juice, on the night they switched it to CLO they got the reaction they wanted and one they weren’t, as I hit the person who made us drink it as a gut reaction.

Finally a ghost but that’s one I prefer to ignore.... spotlight to make me glow under the costume, but as parents told me afterwards your whole outline was showing

Never played any main roles. Always the kid standing at the back singing la la la la la. Because I couldn’t remember the words .. remember my teacher shouting fir god sake just sing lalala.. so I did with gusto much to the amusement of the parents.
