" Two main things for building muscles ither increase time under tension Witch means more reps or more sets or progressive overload witch is same reps and same sets just more wight Best way to go up is get some very low wights like 0.5kg 1.25kg and 2.5kg And just progress over load the bar each week so start with a extra 0.5kg then movie to the 1.25kg then the 2.5kg most people get stuck because they try big jumps in wight and the body just can’t handle it | |||

I use a 20kg dumbell when working my core and I struggle by the end of my sets, I'm not sure if could manage much more at the minute but you've given me a new target It is lol Still to find my limits and as I get older I just seem to be pushing more and more and finding stupider ways to push my self my news is two dum bells on the floor feet on the wight bench and 20kg on in a back pack and it hit 3 sets off 10 punch ups lol Epic! I do punch ups with my legs on a chair but no extra weight. I do 3 sets of 12 or if it's my last exercise I'll do 2 sets of 12 and 1 set to fail. Two main things for building muscles ither increase time under tension Witch means more reps or more sets or progressive overload witch is same reps and same sets just more wight Best way to go up is get some very low wights like 0.5kg 1.25kg and 2.5kg And just progress over load the bar each week so start with a extra 0.5kg then movie to the 1.25kg then the 2.5kg most people get stuck because they try big jumps in wight and the body just can’t handle it " That's the way I've been doing it.
