Friends Lists - isnt it weird.....

That you have someone on your list, you decide to have a clear out, you delete them as youve not heard from them for yonks and they have a go at you for deleting them!!

always makes me giggle

Same here! I try to see who's online and send a quick message - the ones that don't bother to reply are the ones who moan when you delete 'em!

Had the same here lol, you have no contact with them for a while and then all of a sudden they miss you when you delete them - can only assume they miss being able to see your private pics lol xxxx

our friends list is for that reason..friends. if people dont keep in touch then we take it they dont want to be friends so we delete them.

yep we delete if we have no contact. had 2 cpls of late that haven't spoke and we have deleted, then they message us . one cpl we did add back but still found they never spoke, so they got deleted again.

I've had several couples send a friends request without speaking first and I accept if I want to have a look at their private pics but I always send them a 'hi' message as well and if they don't respond, as some of them don't, they're removed just as quick...courtesy really!

What gets me is they invite you as a friend without even chatting - when asked to chat before being added, I hear nothing. So they don't get to be on the list.

When I played as a couple we had a good sized friends list, when I went solo due to circumstances, they all evaporated.

Hapyy to chat and even if no meet is on the cards, then it does widen my circle of friends.

seems to be a female/couples thing this as i've deleted a few from my friends list with not a one asking why or if they can be put back on, or maybe it's that i don't have the "right type" of private pictures lol

Personally i wish they would rename the list as an acquaintance or contacts list rather than a friends list.

From my experience the vast majority of people on my 'friends' list don't keep in touch or email to see how i am, and most times my email to them is ignored or replied to days later with a 'hi'. I have met one or two people i call a real friend who are on my list but on the whole most are just people i don't know or hear from that often, if at all!

I think the friends list is a good way to have your contacts close at hand. But like i say most are just contacts/acquaintances and are not really friends as such.
