The rudeness, stubbornness and lack of obeying or regard for the rules from the general public has had me in tears a few times, and I'm the tough one at work! And what the fuck is it with people not understanding that children/babies have to be included in the table booking numbers? Twice today I had tables of 8 that arrived in dribs and drabs and when I took a head count there were fucking 9 of them coz they had babies. Holy fuck do they kick off when you inform them that the baby has to be counted. Proper trying to argue that the baby shouldn't count! I ended up hands on head and said to one stroppy bitch "of course your baby counts it's a human not a handbag" My patience is wearing very very thin | |||

Feel like I've been fucked sideways with a giant cactus.

Me too, we have staff dropping like flies at the mo coz it's brutal. There's no recovery time and work is packed from open til close. Bonus is I haven't got time for a drink which means I'm not bursting for the loo and thinking the next step I take is the one where I finally piss myself. not sure to laugh or cry to that one peaches

I nearly went last week. Took everything I had not to lob my till key and wave goodbye.
The rudeness, stubbornness and lack of obeying or regard for the rules from the general public has had me in tears a few times, and I'm the tough one at work!
And what the fuck is it with people not understanding that children/babies have to be included in the table booking numbers?
Twice today I had tables of 8 that arrived in dribs and drabs and when I took a head count there were fucking 9 of them coz they had babies. Holy fuck do they kick off when you inform them that the baby has to be counted. Proper trying to argue that the baby shouldn't count! I ended up hands on head and said to one stroppy bitch "of course your baby counts it's a human not a handbag"
