You loaned a friend £40000 two years ago but since then he has refused to pay it back which has affected your friendship.

You've begged him to pay you back £20000 and forget the rest because you have a financial crisis.

He tells you he can only get £15000 because that's all he has and you feel you have no option but to accept.

You send him your bank details and in the morning you wake up to find £150000 in your bank

You check your notifications and find 53 missed calls and 27 texts begging you to pay back £135000 as he only meant to transfer £15000 but accidentaly hit an extra 0

What do you do ?

A, send back £135000

B, take out the full £40000 and return the rest

C, keep the entire £150000 and not respond to his calls or texts

So the question is, what are you going to do

He’s tried to fuck you over. Big time. Let’s face it, 40 grand is a lot of money. And loaning a friend that kind of money, only to be treated like that? I’d give him back 15. Because that’s all he told you he had.

Oooh I'm torn between a and b. On the one hand you'd already written off half of the debt by only asking for 30 grand back but on the other he clearly had the money as he transferred you so much more which he wouldn't be able to do if he didn't have the funds.

In actual fact the answer would he I wouldn't give money I wasn't happy to lose in the first place.

Option B, take out the full £40000 plus the cost and handsome tip of a ropey old looking stripper and return the rest!

I would send her round when I knew all his neighbours were in and could see her walking past their living rooms. She would also be carrying a ghetto blaster and playing Zack Wylde's "I Hate Your Guts." It would be booming at full tit or up to 11!!!!

Take the 40+10

Hop on a plane to somewhere ultra Exotic and expensive, send him back a few pics of you living it up, txt that you will see him next year if your liver and heart can handle it and let him sweat,

Then 5 days later send him his money bar the 50, tell him the 10 was interest, he wasn't a real mate to begin with if he left u hanging with that amount of green in his bank.

Take the £40k plus interest and admin time expenses. Put the remainder into the highest intetest account you can find and when the same time has epapsed from them stringing you along transfer it back to them, minus interest

Job done then no further contact

Contact him and say you want to pay him but cannot as the Tax/SFO Office has automatically been notified of a potential money laundering transaction. No worries as you are sure it will all work out fine. The 40K you lent him was earned income and audited and his is bound to be the same...
