"It’s a difficult one. I usually do but then it fills up the thread really quick. Then if I reply to a few I feel like I should reply to the others! It’s actually quite stressful when you think about it " That's why you always need a bullet-pointed plan for these things

" I try and reply to some, but then I simply can't with everyone. I then think they must feel left out, so I'll pick replies that catch my eye " Then someone comments “ahem” or “coughs” when you miss them out! Then I feel bad! Haha

"I try to answer everyone, but can be difficult in fast moving ones. And if people are having a group chat in the thread I'll leave them to it. " I noticed there's 3 threads on fab since you've been here that you blanked me

"I do struggle with this too. They've taken the time to comment in my thread so I feel I should respond, but then it feels a bit narcissistic for the thread to be heaving with my own comments. So I usually comment back on multiple comments, like, "great opinions so far"... Or "what are you lot smoking?"" A Like button on posts would be good. With reaction emojis.

"I take the view that once a thread is out there it's no longer "mine" but the forum's and will dip in and out like I would any other thread, letting it take it's own course. It doesn't matter to me if it gets to 175 posts or 17 either, it's not a popularity contest so I don't see the need to continually bump it by responding to others. I actually find it quite self-centred and not quite as inclusive as they purport when you look at some (not all) threads that are 75% the OP replying with a couple of meaningless words or an emoji - just let the thread take it's own shape or flow. Ultimately it may depend on the thread, some call for responses to the people that post, others not at all - so do what you want to do, and what works best for you." But, but, but, I'm sorry but I can't not say this. GM, you just told the self centred people to let the thread go and then in the next paragraph you said to do what you want to do and what works for you.... That's the fab forums summed up for me, "do what you like as long as I like it"....

As for "That's the fab forums summed up for me, "do what you like as long as I like it"..." - nowhere did I say I give the slightest stuff personally how others choose to use the forums and I honestly don't, if I don't like it I avoid - I made an observation and nothing more.... ....innit
