KIDLINGTON

Been to the bucthers today and picked up some nice beef etc for the week ahead.

Whilst there I was tempted by the pork scratchings and enjoying them with a couple of cold beers..

Anyone else love pork scratchings?

An old coach of mine used to use them in Keto diets as a snack as full of fat and protein!

I think they are best when west midland made

Not for me, especially when you see them with hair sticking out

Good point but I don't usually expect to shave what I eat (there's a joke there somewhere)

Everyone loves a good pork now and then...as long as it doesn't leave you scratching later.

I like them but I've found the shop bought ones can be a bit of a dental Russian roulette. One minute you'll be eating something that's like a lovely bit of pork crackling that simply melts in the mouth. And then the next minute you're chewing on something that's like an old pigs ear (because it probably is), that even a dog wouldn't dare tackle for fear they might lose a tooth.

Only Mr Porky's pork scratchings will do for me, unless it is home made pork scratchings accompanied with apple sauce.
