For the past year or so the majority of my sent text were either deleted or replies no thanks

Which is fine , at least I know .

But I’m noticing a new trend , texts are read and not deleted! Anyone shed light on this .

Totally new ground here

Or they’re waiting to do a bulk delete. Very satisfying to do that

Some people can't be asked to delete messages.

I often read a message, get distracted and then realise a few days later that I haven't replied so it could be that.

They're probably like us and only do in box housekeeping now and again. I would say the only messages to think about are answered ones, anyothers assume it's a no, then if you do get a response later on its a nice surprise.

Sometimes I don't delete because I can't be arsed with the follow up messages, some are nasty, and having been on here for over 20 year's I can tell which one's will be a shitty second message

I never delete messages, sorry but life is too short, I'd rather spend on time answering messages than worrying whether I've deleted ones I've read.

There and to the left a bit

It's not a new thing OP - has been happening and being questioned by single men on here since I joined 4 years ago...and the answers are always in line with those given here too

I've always found it best not to worry too much about how others use Fab rather focus on my own experience and those that do respond rather than try and figure out those that don't

Yes yes , it’s new for me but agree it’s just Fab , I don’t experience this in the real world , I won’t loose any sleep over texts

Thanks again

I put my messages to read just to get the number of messages off the top line of my profile. Sitting there as a little bossy yellow box implies action has to be taken and currently I want to action no action, so it looks neater and cleaner this way. Cant be faffed to delete as fab does that for you after a while anyway. A terribly boring answer but explains my methods and what happens to a message

They keep it read for 7 days before deleting

By then you will be pissed of and have deleted it from your sent folder

so there deletion will not cause you to question it

If they have been read and no reply sent delete and move on , women afford the luxury of another message appearing in the next 5 mins lol.

The right place

Don’t try to think about sent messages. Just enjoy responding to the ones that you receive.

Shangri-la

I very rarely delete messages. I used to try to reply to all, even to say 'no thanks', but that usually resulted in 'why not?' etc. Also if I don't delete then it's easy to spot the repeat copy & paste messages, I've a few of them who send the exact same message on a weekly basis.

If I've read it & not replied then it's safe to just assume I'm not interested.

When I send a message (which is very rare these days), I delete it straight away so I haven't a clue what the recipient has done with it. Fire and forget is the best way on here.

We hardly ever delete messages for a couple of reasons - we don't very often look at them together so leave them to make sure we both see them, also we always try to reply to all messages unless it's the 'hay' 'how are you' etc and sometimes cant reply straight away

You message total strangers in the hope of a shag 'out there' and get answers?

The men here would like to know how you do that.

Theres no luxury about loads of messages from men who clearly choose to ignore profiles to get their cock wet.

They are the vast majority by the way.

It’s very easy to send a polite message and strings a few words together and read the profile, most don’t like that approach

I get lots of those messages too...from men who have ignored my profile and just want a wet cock. I'm not a disposable and free sex worker like most seem to the the women here are.

The normal blokes who understand what all this is, shine like a beacon and are extremely rare.

I do understand this lifestyle and I’ve no problem with it but I feel some think o want more ... anyway my beacon is broken
