It also creases me to that women just like that neglect their own kids and spend all day watching Jezza or on line instead of brining up properly what they have popped put. I agree that it is just a modern day 'Victorian Freak Show'
On the other hand, there is a distinct difference between mentally ill and poorly educated with little concept of how to conduct yourself in public.
I think far more of Jezzers guests fall into the latter category than they do the mentally ill one."i agree i think he really wants to help people but it's us _iewers who want the chavs to kick off. | |||

"Ok, here is my take and yes it is stereo typing. A couple come on around 25 right chavs and then "the mother" comes on gobbing off, people lead by example. Ive never been an angel, but my basic values are how i was brought up, always clean and tidy, clean house, not fing and blinding every 5 minutes. They live on benefits because they dont have a purpose in life. They do the same thing day in and day out. Some may have mental health problems but with most of them its a society thing. Now every one can go to a dentist and get their teeth sorted, but they dont have any incentive. They probley live in an area where its quite the norm to live and behave in the manor they do, and being on television embarressing themselves would make them appear icons to the rest off them. I have no idea how the problem could be solved, but teaching them self respect and dignity would go along way"  | |||

I suspect most of his "guests" see it as an opportunity to appear in their own reality show with the possibility of being made "famous" like Jade Goody and that awful Lizzy woman from Wife Swap. I have to admit to not understanding how women think having babies by a multitude of men and not knowing who knocked you up a good idea. Then parading your poor choices on tv. | |||

She washed dishes, wiped arses, studied once we were in bed and achieved nursing qualifications and a career. from that, my sister and I did exactly the same. but everyday, I know I was lucky to have her as my mum. | |||

I think we should think about how this happened in society, and not put ALL the blame on they're shoulders... It's not always helpful. Of course people should accept responsibility for their behaviour though- I'm not that daft  | |||

I was stunned." I watched Jerry Springer years ago...never seen anything like it. Then I watched Maury...good heavens! All he did it seemed was paternity test shows. When he began testing 9, 10, 11 men for one woman's baby's father and all the test came back "not the daddy" I stopped because it seemed cruel, even though the women happily went along with it, listening to the men deny them and calling them whores. | |||
