What is the best way to help someone ?

Let's say ......

A homeless person

A jobless person

That type of thing. I don't mean making cakes for your neighbours 40th?

Don't patronise or look down on them. Help them see their own self worth.

I normally donate food and clothes to a local charity that distributes them to local people.

I do have 2 charitys I give to on a monthly basis.

As I mentioned the other day I donate my bras to a charity that sends the to women in Africa and India.

I wish i could do more though as it never seems enough. X

By doing it and not filming it, telling anyone, gloating about it etc.

Its not necessarily altruism otherwise?

It never is pure altruism but it's important how it is done nevertheless.

It depends on the person. In my opinion there's not a one size fits all solution.

surrounded by twinkly lights

I would ask them if they need help, them being homeless or jobless doesn't necessarily mean that they want one...

They maybe perfectly happy as they are

You can only be the best version of yourself when being aultristic (is that really a word)

You may not always be right in your actions (and I am not saying do something so blatantly out there that is does not help the person) but that is not what it is about. It is about that selflish act itself.

Well you could start by asking them how they want to be helped?
