Jack has just been diagnosed with

multiple sclerosis poor buy I hope he gets the treatment sorted I have ms and it's not a nice illness there is plenty of support out there

My aunt has it, it's been so sad watching her deteriorate over the years. The last 12 months have been the worst as she is now permanently in her wheelchair, losing her vision and unable to hold her hands steady enough to do most things. Terrible disease.

Agreed it's not a nice illness, I also have MS, but have managed to get to the point mentally where I won't let it beat me. It's always there and there are good and bad times , but it's only a small part of who I am and I'm hoping I can keep it that way for as long as possible !

Just because he is a celeb it gets on the news. what about all the normal people who have it and dont get on the news. Im sure he will have decent treatment and live a comfy life unlike normal people who have to live off benefits.

Whilst money is a big help, it won't stop him suffering or being in pain. Its a horrible illness and I feel for anyone living with it.

every one of the people who have MS that Jane looks after all pay for there own care workers not one are NHS and as for Jack Osborn his treatment will be no better then anyone elses treatment money carnt make MS go away

Illness pays no respect to age, class, creed or gender and defiantly not to wealth or fame. I think its terribly sad when people are disrespectful to someone's bad health not having met, talked or interact with them. It says so much about the person doing it.

I'll admit I live off benefits and I have MS..I worked from 16yrs old till I had to accept ill health retirement from being a qualified paediatric nurse..with only a few years out to bring up my children.

Do I feel any shame at having to live off the state ? Do I 'eck !!

I can't believe some people can turn this into money ms doesn't care wat u have or don't have who u are sex,race,anything it's a horrible illness I worked since I left school and my last job I loved but had to give it up due to my illness I hate being on benefits but have to

I go to a place for people with ms called the revise centre and get great support from thm and meet some great people all with ms I must say there is one thing about people with ms they are positive n don't stick there heads n the sand n say oh why me good luck jack

sympathy is between shit and syphyllis. and it dont pay the bills etc. all the support in the world doesnt erase the practcalities. like i said 3 months on £85 a week for three people isnt a joke. as far as i am concerned when jon had the stroke our family did.

the fall out for any illness is crap for all concerned.

Sometimes I think people are jealous of other peoples lives/ success.

On the other hand, I am guessing he will be able to make his life more comfortable because he probably does have some money in the bank....but I bet he is wishing he could trade it.

I also think higlighting it and speaking out isn't a bad thing.

I've been taking high dose D3 for 3 years now and it's improved my health no end. Low levels are associated with a whole host of health problems, a biggie being depression.

My son's best friend was diagnosed with MS while at uni aged only 19. He has had some surgery to put a stent

in his jugular vein and it has virtually cured him. Not all can gain relief from this operation unfortunately.

What a pile of crap! How exactly do you think that works then? That drugs crept, by osmosis, into the womb? That they created a miasma in the air while he was a child that he breathed in? Then it affected his nervous system in this way?
