I'll hold my hand up and say that I'm a mug of tea person with hot chocolate as a back up.

Am I missing out on life by not drinking coffee ?

Colleagues have daily chats about coffee and how it starts their day and they can't operate without it etc etc

I ventured past a coffee shop this week got to the counter and when asked what if like I froze as it was like looking at a menu written in Chinese that made no sense.

So I resorted to, you guessed it hot chocolate !

Am I missing out on life, What should I try,

Please can someone explain what the shots, latte, Americano, au lait etc etc etc all mean

But most importantly will it change my life ?

It will leave you wide eyed and bushy tailed

I normally have a black Americano which is a shot of espresso topped up with hot water so it dilutes the strength.

Curiously though I have started to drink tea more and keep coffee just for breakfast.

I have a love hate relationship with coffee. I go through stages of having shed loads, then get annoyed with myself for it, cut it down or out then crash

Used to be on the coffee, but when i went a day without was so ill.

Occasionally have decaf but it's mainly tea now.

If I am in a coffee establishment then it's a flat white for me

If you've nothing nice to say maybe don't comment or are you attention seeking ?

It's just an idea rather than spread your negativity on other people ?

The first real coffee..it's gotta be the perky made from ground beans stuff... really kick starts my body for the day .. everything from them on for the next hour seems to go smoothly...tea has a similar effect but is more subtle and there's no instant rush... instant coffee just has a nice ISH taste ..but it's just not the same

I like a good dark (no milk) coffee in the morning, could I do without? Yeah. Do I limit how many I have per day? Yes. And I only add milk and sugar when I need a pick me up. Are you missing out? Think you know the answer to that question.

I started drinking coffee as I desperately needed to stay awake. Now I have one coffee in the mornings and that is it. I may enjoy an afternoon coffee if I plan on meeting ( need I explain why?) .

I find you become a ‘coffee snob’ as time goes by, kind of like wine..... you pursue a flavour........ of you are a Guinness kind of guy then you will like coffee.

Simples

Coffee in the morning and again at lunch, tea the rest of the day. I would usually opt for a flavoured latte cause I'm a big girls blouse lol I would like to try some of the Black Rifle stuff though

I used to drink Cocoa Cola for the caffeine to keep me awake at work. Had to stop though as I started to get through 3-4 cans in just the first few hours of the day.

I didn’t start drinking coffee until I was in my mid twenties. Now I love it, love it, love it you hear!? Filter coffee is wonderful but once you’ve invested in that machine you’ll never want to go back to instant

I do love tea too though, earl grey all the way.

I prefer tea as a general rule.

I do like coffee but I have to be in the right mood or very tired. And I’m one of those basic bitches that has dirty chai lattes and coconut mochas

It's expensive don't do it

That being said, I'm currently drinking a coffee with notes of malted chocolate biscuit, chocolate and red apple

I found a lovely one in Lidl of all places, their Kenyan blend. Notes of citrus and blackcurrant, it’s lovely. Very fresh.

Interesting. Blackcurrant is a pretty typical flavour note of Kenyans, although I'd be surprised to see citrus notes working well in a supermarket coffee.

Very interesting.

It’s not overpowering, it does seem to work quite well, at least for my palate anyway.
