One of my all time favourites, indelibly linked to the opening scenes of Jackie Brown (arguably Tarantino's best film).

"Sing it "

'I was the third brother of five

Doing whatever I had to do to survive

I'm not saying what I did was all right

Trying to break out of the ghetto was a day-to-day fight'

Jaysus....really?

Its weird how his films divide people.

I thought it was an OK film, not his best by any stretch.

I didn't care for Kill Bill, or hateful 8.

I much preferred Django, inglorious, and Pulp Fiction.

I just googled the tune. Not bad at all, I'm like to see the film...it sounds like it will have a good soundtrack to it

Yep, it's great. Universally fantastic performances, well paced, great editing, a memorable soundtrack... I'm a fan of most of his work, especially the low key stuff like Res Dogs (and the things he had a hand in writing such as True Romance, From Dusk... and NBK), but JB, with its nods to blaxploitation films, remains my favourite. Plus, Pam Grier is in it. I'm a big genre fan though, so I also liked Kill Bill.

I'm with you on Hateful 8 though. Didn't particularly resonate with me, although I didn't watch it under the best circumstances.

Well I'm not sure what sort of a woman OP is but Yasmeen is a woman of the finest order and one that I hold in the highest of regards. In other words not a cow.

Brilliant tune. My favourite song from American Gangster was "Do you feel me" by Anthony Hamilton

I mean it was originally from the film of the same name, but was popularised by Jackie Brown. That film has such a good soundtrack in general though.

I really really liked Hateful 8. It was like an Agatha Christie whodunit, disguised as a western. You could tell the actors all had tremendous fun making the film, and I felt like that was quite contagious and I had tremendous fun watching it.

Kill Bill bored the absolute arse off me though. I couldn't even face part 2. Jackie Brown was pretty slick, though.
