Took the dogs for a walk and one of them decided to have a chowdown on fresh horse poo.

What stinky things has or does your dog(s) like to eat?

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

Mine doesn't like eating and hates stinky stuff.

My old dog used to have a thing about the dead and rotting fish in the harbour.

He would go off for a wander on the beach and bring one back to about 10 feet away and settle down to roll in it and eat it so he was just far enough I couldn't grab it off him.

I remember one time when he was a puppy and he had just had his jabs. I came back into the bedroom after five minutes of leaving him and the poor boy had shit all over the carpet

I make the assumption if there is toilet paper nearby (I'm no expert) but it seems to be the most attractive to eat!

Yeah! Ape is really playful, energetic and very naughty but when you really want something done then you give her "the voice of authority", some eye contact and a hand gesture resembling a wank/fit and she's pretty good....

"Took the dogs for a walk and one of them decided to have a chowdown on fresh horse poo.

"

Its called coprophagia and lots of mammals do it because poo is rich the the bacteria that makes Vit K, an essential part of blood clotting.

One reason why vaginas are next door to bums, babies get colonised during birth.

My daughter's puppy eats anything. He's ridiculous.

Socks, wood, soil, crab apples, banana skins, plastic, stones, flies, god knows what stuff in the grass.

You have to be on high alert with him all the time because of it. I spend more time yelling "Murphy, drop" than anything else when out.

We have not had the poo incident yet but I've got zero doubt, given the chance, he will.

My poo eating dog now has the habit of picking up discarded tissues in the park and hiding them. She also likes socks and footsies.

She literally doesn’t let it touch the floor if I don’t stop her.

Yep rank. Mine will let the other finish before scooping it up. Apparantly in winter poopsicles are a favourite for dogs.

I used to have a Staffordshire bull terrier when I still lived with my parents and the mucky sod would sneak off and eat cat shit out of the litter tray if he could.

Also as it was a pig farm there were occasionally dead pigs under a tarpaulin waiting for the fellmonger to take them away, and he got at one of those once and brought a decomposing leg back to the house, it smelt ripe and every time you went near him to take it off him he'd run off to another room and start chewing it again! It's not like he was starving or anything there was always plenty of proper dog food and biscuits for him, he was just a grotter sometimes
