I'm not a big drinker, far from it but I have seen far worse than a woman who's had too much to drink, such as others attempting to take full advantage of said woman, or women who haven't had too much to drink yet appear like they have. Ah yes, their drink had been spiked by someone planning to take full advantage.

Maybe in those countries the men are more respectful to their women so they don't feel the need to get pissed to block out their hideous other halves for a few hours
