I got this the first time I was pregnant and it comes back on me from time to time, mainly at night but sometimes in the throes of sex!!!!

It feels like your leg is trying to get away from you! Had a useful tip though.

Keep cocktail sticks handy by the bed and if you get a cramp prick the muscle and it will release the cramp.

Or if you have been overly exercising or walking and could get one or heading up for a riotous night of rabid sex, use Crampex.

I got cramp on a meet the other day. I was knelt down on the bed and my left calf went into spasm.

Thankfully, we both saw the funny side as I hopped around the room.

Its so painful pulling a muscle in bed. If I've been all curled up and then stretch out then sometimes I get a really painful spasm which seems to last for ages.

i have been told that if you put vicks vapour rub on to the soles of your feet before bed it stops the cramps.

bfs dad has been using it for passed 3 yrs and hasnt had any cramp at all.

Cramp is usually a sign that your body is lacking in salt. Hence why sports people get it when very tired. They lose salts through sweat.

Tonic water is a great cure, as is a sports drink. This may sound daft but also doing static stretches before bed will help. Kind of a warm down. Although it won't look sexy on a meet. Lol

+1 on that but try Himalayan sea salt. It's pink in appearance and far better for you than adulterated table salt. Salt is especially important if you eat a low-carb diet.
