"The Taking of Deborah Logan Train to Busan Rec (pretty much all of them tbh) Get Out Tucker and Dale Vs Evil Include The Host with Train of Busan" I love The Host! Absolutely brilliant. Also, it's sort of horror (although not gore really), The Orphanage.

"Second shout for the classic Night if the Demon. I am a big Lovecraft and cosmic horror fan but directors have struggled to convey that on the big screen. However two recent films are excellent, namely The Void and Colour Out if6 Space. The Thing is a classic in its own right but could be loosely clsssed as cosmic horror, as well as Hellboy (btw I think I am one of the few people who thought the recent Hellboy remake was actually ok)." Love craft!! Reanimator fan here, any Stuart Gordon film really

"Martyrs Raw Teeth The Blob (1988) The Fly (Cronenberg) Near Dark " I wouldn't be putting martyrs in there, martyrs, frontiers, switchblade romance(all French BTW) are brutal but I'd class them more psychological thriller with blood than horror, but then again what do I know

"A carefully arranged social on Saturday included a discussion of a mutual love of the horror genre. So, over to you forumites for your input of the creepiest, most blood curdling, scaring your pants off horror films. I'm looking for films that have a good story, a great soundtrack or sound score, a twist or two but, importantly, I want films that I'm likely to want to watch more than once or twice. My (limited) list: Eraserhead 1977 Cronos (La invención de Cronos 1993) The Shining 1980 Phantasm 1979 The cabin in the Woods 2011 The Crazies 1973 " Love a good horror, even some of the ones that make you laugh with how poor the special effects are. John carpenters the thing for example. Or any of the evil dead’s (number 2 was best) Braindead Bad taste All classics
