What does he expect?

This marine engineer contacted me via another adult site, and we had a good chat and some fun on MSN at the beginning of Sep 09.

Due to limited availability, we arranged to meet over a meal on 30 Sep when he was due to be back in the UK. This was done in early Sep 09.

Although he kept communicating via e-mail, they were far and between.

Then came Fri 25 Sep, he e-mailed to say he was unlikely to be back by 30 Sep. However, he should be back for the following weekend!

I politely replied he had only booked me for 30 Sep, and there was no mentioned of the first weekend of Oct 09, and that weekend had then been taken by Mr. Hot Date.

I suggested for him to contact me when he is back in the country and on shore, to see if we could work something out.

And I have not heard from him since

What does he frigging expect? Me sitting at home waiting for things to happen???!!!

My next availability at present is 21 Nov 09 for pete sake!!!

No wonder he is divorced and could not have a relationship of any kind, so inconsiderate!!!

Anyone else whose playmates expected them to do nothing except to be at the beck and call???

I have not even met him yet! He went cold on me I guess, as I have not made myself available to him whenever he wants!

Personally, I wouldn't worry about him!

As you say, in this scene I don't think waiting by the phone just in case Mr.X might call, is part of the deal

And you haven't actually met him? Well, suspect that it's now his loss!!!

Oops, pressed the Post Message button before I finished the message, doh!!!

Anyway, he e-mailed me to say he is back in the country, and would like to meet mid week, and weekends may still be possible before he has to fly out to a far flung continent to work on another boat/yacht/whatever.

The cheek of it!

I declined to say he is not ticking the right boxes for me, and am not the kind that sit by the phone hoping it will ring.

And that I am not prepared to earmark another weekend well in advance for him to say he can't make it a few days before.

Plenty more fish in the sea, and I don't have to use a very big net!
