Love this site.

Post lockdown we are looking forward to meeting up with some sexy people.

But

There is so much on here about not meeting, it’s against the rules. Etc.

But pictures and comments relating to meeting now are still allowed.

Seems wrong

An icu nurse is writing this. So make of it what you want.

shits creek

Some will clearly be rule flouting, a bit like the group of NHS staff that didn't stick to the social distancing rules in our restaurant the week before last, and moved a load of chairs round one table even though they knew they weren't allowed.

Some will be old pics

Some will be people who are in each others support bubbles.

It’s not about people meeting. It’s about the sites rules.

Have you been dealing with covid patients? How are your colleagues coping with it all? Do you all have a different view than 'people on the street'?

It must be a horrible situation for you. X

Some will be support. Agreed.

We site together as groups at work. But only those that have had it.

It’s been horrible.

So pleased it’s not as bad

The site is rightly seeking to dissuade its members from seeking meets at this time and rightly so . Unfortunately some of its members are openly seeking or engaging in meets according to comments and posts made. The covid ruling is that they will get banned . Does it happen , probably not. Only today I have had a number of members asking me to meet.. perhaps they should be monitoring the site better .. my opinion only .

You should of reported them as I as a NHS worker have been out with colleagues and we’ve always had separate tables

It's just 1 of many double standards that fab has.

Not much can be done about it unfortunately

Calderdale innit

I have to say I have noticed that more people are putting status updates about meeting again,

I am a healthcare worker too and still wouldn't consider any meet as of yet

I do report those who message and ask for meets which I know were not socially distanced socials

Rules can be seen as encouragement or validation, so I guess there could be liability issues?

Not the most obvious double standard I've seen here......

Near Wells

Fab as a group or company has to be seen to do the right thing and follow government guidelines just like any other business.

In reality, do they care if people follow their rules? Probably not.

They give the guidelines and rules and it's up to us, ie the customers if we follow them or not.

Some people are still meeting as the clubs are open. I know that they are opened in the same capacity as a pub i.e. social only, but things will happen in there...obviously

many see the chance of getting seriously ill or dying as very slim. They are right, its slim chance, obviously they can vary the virus but chances of them getting ill is very small

It is only wrong if you do it at the back of a grey Talbot without calling the team

how many are meeting and how many are just lying to making themselves look good?

could be a lot of attention seeking?

im not saying its not happening because humans take risks without thought of others.

all i can say is if you discover someone has been meeting and its something you disagree with just block.

dont worry yourself over what they are doing. it only harms you and causing you anger etc so relax and just hit the block button.
