As I have a dentist appointment coming up it is asking how many units I drink in a week.

Does anyone actually think about these things or just get another pint?

Do you drink a lot?

I need to work this out. Hmmmm

2 bottles of wine or 1 bottle of wine and a few bottles of beer. No idea if that is good or bad but both are enjoyable so not really caring.

I have worked it out to about between, 20 to 30 units a week, but i have a really physical job, so i don't have a beer belly, as i suppose its all relative

To work out units, you times the abv by the ml of liquid then divide it by 1000

I rarely drink so zero. I'll occasionally drink enough to get a little d*unk but it's probably only every three or four months.

I’m a cheap date so if I do have a drink it’s usually one or two glasses of wine and I’m happily tipsy. I don’t need more than that.

Good response as smoothies are very bad for your teeth as are crisps (Sticky, fully of starch and good and hiding in the interdental/dermal gaps.). Fruit juice isn't too healthy either. pH levels are key here.

Under lockdown it went right up. Got into a bit of a habit of homeworking til 10pm then having some wine. I've stopped the evening working and pretty much cut back on the wine.

Have just bought a new bottle of tequila tho.
