I prefer a hot bath but cold baths are good for you. Sportsmen bath in ice.

Bad.. it'll make you hotter in the long run. A tepid bath is better for you.

I love swimming in cold water but sitting in a cold bath does not appeal.

Yep, a cool bath is best. Cold and your body heats up to regulate!

East Hull

A cold bath will reduce your body temperature but you will end up sweating when you get out, a hot bath will be more relaxing and you will feel cold when you get out. id recommend a hot bath with lots of bubbles and a refreshing drink.

nice Uke btw, do you play?

Just no

Cold water makes me feel like I'm having a heart attack!

I used to have freezing showers in India before the water tank on the roof had warmed up and it surprised me every time

Lukewarm is without question the way forward in this weather.

Ordinarily im a "just shy of peeling the skin off my back" back temperature guy, but even I cant deal in this heat.

There was a masochist who loved nothing better than an ice cold bath every morning, so he always had warm ones.

Run bath normal, get in the trickle in cold until it is cold.

No cold shocks and cools you down nicely..

Couple years ago I got a 9ft Intex pool with the inflatable ring that lifts the outer rim.

2000 litres to fill, first day was awesome. Went to bed to wake up to find grass and bedding plants had suffered a tsunami in the night. Garden furniture moved.

Ran the CCTV back to mine and next doors cat running around the top in the night, puncturing the ring and collapsing the pool.

The cats were washed down the garden on the wave too...
