how many bi men would confess to their partner/wife that they are bi? I would say a lot woudnt,BUT its better than them finding out off another person like i did about my now ex husband.

I think a lot of people don't even acknowledge that they're bi for a long time, then it becomes quite difficult to tell a long term partner. Add to that the stigma that surrounds bi men compared to the positive celebrity around bi women and you have all the right conditions to make it difficult. Also all the time it's seen as being something you have to confess as if it's a crime it'll be hard for a man to talk about.

It’s a sad state of affairs if a husband and wife can’t be honest with each other about who they are, and if they can’t they’re probably better off apart.

I (Luke) wouldn't have any qualms telling Hannah I was bi if I was. She wouldn't have any issues with that and would let me explore that side of my sexuality just as she is free to explore her attraction to women.

I wouldnt have a problem if a partner opened up and told me they were Bi. I'd like to think we had the kind of relationship that meant these things could be discussed without issue.

My ex husband knew from the off that I was Bi, I had no secrets from him but he hated it and was a side of me that had to be buried as much as possible.

I would have no problem telling my wife if I was bi and I could do that as we love and trust each other.

But going by your periods threads I’m guessing that your marriage wasn’t as close as ours.

Its tricky as there are so many layers to being Bi.

I imagine lots wouldn't too, but that depends on the couple. Some men just get aroused by the thought of a sexual act with a man, but have no intention of ever acting on it. But they wouldn't tell anyone because of their fear of an ugly reaction their loved one may have to it.

I think eventually the taboo is something that will dissappear as we become ever more accepting to other people's sexuality
