just been announced that fifa are investigating an attempted pitch invasion by england fans at the game against sweden on friday last!.

the pitch invasion did not happen from what i saw on tv on friday, but that french hitler platini will try to get england fans banned and probably the team too!,he just seems to want to wind up our england team, the FA,and england fans at every opportunity!.

England are hardly being picked on:

"The Football Union of Russia received a suspended six-point deduction for the Uefa Euro 2016 qualifiers after supporters set off fireworks and displayed illicit banners during the group A clash with the Czech Republic on the opening day.

The Croatian Football Federation were fined €25,000 (£20,100) following similar incidents during the Group C match against the Republic of Ireland.

Further fines have been imposed on the German Football Association and Portuguese Football Federation after their supporters were found to have thrown paper missiles onto the pitch during their meeting." (from bbc.co.uk)

Seems to me like consistent attempts to discourage bad behaviour.

think you will find it was a 'attempted' pitch invasion...

when Englands 3rd goal went in I saw fans jump over barriers and run towards the pitch.

A fine on way..tho the amount of money wasted on paying off useless foreign coaches recently, another few grand make no diff!!!!!!

The premier league is the most watched and supported league in the world..we have the biggest peice of the pie and other leagues do not like this.....it can't be nice for a frenchman walking around Paris seeing young kids in Arsenel shirts.

yep!,the premier league is the richest around!,blatter & platini do not like their own countries leagues being overshadowed, remember ferw years ago when 3 prem teams in european champions league semi finals?,must have hurt them like hell.

they will fine us(the FA)an over the top fine considering it was an event that never actually happened and they will rub their grubby little hands with glee!.

Blatter and, to some extent, Platini are attempting to rewrite the history of football to make it look like the Chinese invented the game some 3,000 years before the English sewed a few pig's bladders together and pumped it full of air.

How one polices an 'attempt' to do something is quite mystifying though. Maybe they have a Minority Report setup hidden away at Cern somewhere.
