A gentleman never tells

Go shopping with a list?

I go rogue and do it without a list, end up with some random bits I never knew I wanted.

If you shop without a list, you're doing it wrong

I have a list of things I need, but I always get random things I don't need as well.

This. I have a list of the things I need to buy, but I invariably end up with other items as well, some are more random than others!

Number 1 always take a shopping list and number 2 never go shopping when your hungry as my trolley always gets filled with junk when I’m starving..

Only at Christmas or if I have an important dinner or something like that, apart from that I know the supermarket off by heart and get the same most weeks. I only live a stone throw away from the supermarket so if I do forget something it's not the end of the world to walk across and get it.

I make a list but usual end up with it left on the kitchen table. Tried photographing it and just forgot the phone instead. Can't win

I love a list...

got to have a list...

even if I write a list and leave it in my handbag I get great comfort from knowing that I have a list should I need it.

I take a list then rarely use it. I'm always in a rush between work and getting back for the kids.

I often take a list to the real shops but I rarely go. We have a running list on the coffee table for the Internet grocery shop too. Mind you I nipped into Marks for some grapes and came out with a large carrier bag full of fruit so a list might ensure I got what I needed but wouldn't stop me getting what I didn't need

I never take a list, I would rather see what’s on offer and work round that

Peaches and nectarines, ripe and ready, two packs £4. Skin them, cut in half, take the stones out, bake for ten mins, serve with Greek yogurt sprinkled with flaked almonds. Delicious!

I can't remember why I went into the next room most days, I've got no chance of coming back from the shops with what I went for unless I take a list.
