The right place

For those of you at home over lockdown, what do you do for lunch?

Do you have a couple of ‘go to’ options or do you have something different every day?

Sussex countryside

A sandwich and a packet of crisps and some fruit. Sometimes I change it up and add some veg sticks.

The right place

I’ve settled into a routine of one of the following:

Mushrooms fried in butter and garlic on sourdough toast

A duck wrap with hoisin sauce and cucumber and spring onions (vegetarian duck though)

Cheese and tomato on a toasted sesame bagel

Or leftovers

Leicester / London

We need a lockdown snacks thread

I've taken to bourbon biscuits with peanut butter ontop

Crackers with melted cheese salsa sauce and cuecumber

Salmon burger patties for breakfast ...yeah you heard right

Kids size pizzas with leftover salad ontop and anchovies

All great 5 minute snacks

I generally skip lunch; haven't been expending enough energy to justify three meals a day.

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

Can I come round for lunch?

Today I had a Nutella sandwich, and I’m finishing a huge strawberry and cream Swiss roll that we didn’t finish last night.

Can you tell I have no food in the house?

I seem to be obsessed with pitta bread at the moment with various fillings.

I'm so over bread

?

I'm following a keto meal plan, so the same as the previous days dinner - cook two portions every night and have one for lunch the following day. Saves on weighing/measuring and cooking (not to mention washing up)
