Ever had one and how did you deal with them?

Sadly, I have a child with mine so can't just forget him.

"I reported him to the police for stalking me. "

Done that, no evidence so they wouldn't do anything despite an 18 year history of domestic abuse charges.

Report and keep a diary. Seek help from relevant charities.. Clares law/coercive behaviour is taken much more seriously by police now.

Have you tried talking to the NCDV?

Have you spoken to solicitor? You could get non mol order perhaps but they would need to see some evidence.

I really wish that was the case...

Not enough evidence for stalking.

He sent a death threat and because it wasn't aimed at anyone they wouldn't do anything.

This is the man that categorised as high risk by the police.

I'm sorry to hear that. I would still continue to make a note of any further unacceptable behaviour with dates, times, recordings, screenshots and better witnesses if possible until you can build the case.

The police can be a pain in the ass but you can eventually get there. Keep everything. Screenshots of all attempted digital contact. Screenshots of your block list with them on it. Record the time and date of any in person contact or take photos if you are able to. Don't engage with any of the contact. I know it's difficult as you have a child but it would be best to set up a third party to be a point of contact you communicate through.

Trying to separate from one. We have 2 kids together. He has done crazy shit to me.

Just try & focus on your child. Ignore the BS & only respond about your kid with him.

Move on & be happy.

What LaceyRed said plus get in touch with your nearest women centre or get yourself IDVA and seek their advice. The more they know the more tips and support they can give you. If needed contact your children's services and inform them too of his behaviour if it happens around the child.

I had a crazy ex who was obsessed with me.. He carved my initials into his wrist with a house key at a party we were both at.. Then held his arm over a candle!!! I was young and it was freaky.

My other difficult ex is the father of my kids. He is constant hard work.

A little village

Yup. He knew where I was and when, with who, and the contents of my phone including texts sent and received (he would call me off withheld numbers and quote them at me). He would call from a private number seconds after I’d walked through the door of my flat - and he’d ask “where’ve you been tonight?” It was terrifying. Luckily he disappeared for good one day. Hope you get it sorted OP x

Mine was crazy (and abusive) but he wasn’t the problem. His psycho girlfriend, now wife, is still the issue.

Nothing as bad as the ladies but I did have an ex who sent me a lengthy message about how after we broke up she found out she was pregnant with my child, lost it but named it anyway and probably a few other things I've forgotten. Not an ounce of truth to any of it of course... nutjob

You can speak to DV Assist (Google) they can help you get an injunction put in place (NMO) if there has been history of domestic violence. It will be a family court appointed order and has to be up head by the police. Also put a flag on your address if necessary. Hope that helps?
