Some states may of overwhelmingly voted against trump but they get out numbered by some of the other states where trump only win by a narrow margin. | |||

Google is your friend lol but it involves electors and certificates of some kind. The general election is in November but the president is not sworn in until the following January. | |||

You want to look at the popular vote numbers to see the actual numbers of people who voted for each candidate. But each state has a different number of electoral college votes. | |||

"These are strange times. This is particularly so in the U.S. Donald Trump is far from a Twat. Why do people persist in believing that he runs American alone. Like many of those on the inside of politics, he understands the need for a matrix like veil .......shall we label it 'democracy' .... makes me laugh each time I hear that word.
