i am doing race for life on 24th June and as you can tell from my pics (look at me thread

) i'm notmuch of a walker lol

i originally signed up just to get my ass off the sofa but in recent weeks my nan has been diagnosed with cancer in several different places and so now this has got a bitmore personal for me.

My next door neighbour was diagnosed with cancer last month but unfortunately never made it home from the hospital.

Today's the day!!! Thanks so much to everyone that has sponsored me, have raised 50% more than my target amount

I've walked a mile and half to get to the flipping start line.....totally counts to my final distance!!!

took just under an hour. got a bit emotional at the wamr up for some reason, maybe becasue i was doing it alone, maybe because when i signed up i hadnt really been touched by cancer but now its a very personal cause

am so glad i did it, and will be doing it again next year...hopefully with a gang of ladies

well done!!! I was unable to do it this year but the past few years that I did it I got very emotional too..was also walking it alone...so proud of you and saw you are now £80 over your target
