"I don’t think I’m heroic in any sense of the word. My hero is my Dad, who raised me and my 2 sisters by himself whilst holding down a full time job after we lost our mum as little girls. We wanted for nothing and we were loved in abundance, despite his own grief. That’s a hero in my eyes. " Oh gosh. Made me tearful.. and more determined to do best I can for my kids..

" It was a hugely traumatic and life changing experience that has taken me over 25 years to process and deal with. But without my Dad, who know what the fate of my sisters and I would have been... He’s not perfect, but he’s a hero to me.
