Hey, not sure if there will be many snooker fans on here. But if you are, what have you made of the world championships so far?

Very strange with no crowd reaction I feel and the Eurosport coverage has been terrible. Missing the BBC.

On a positive though I think the draw is opening up nicely for John Higgins

Just realised the BBC are still showing it. Just the highlights are on crazy late. But definitely be watching their coverage going forward when I'm not working.

I hope they’re doing the coverage like they did with the football so you can press the red button and have the crowd noise added so it seems more normal.

Watched a chunk of the mark Williams game last night, always thought he looks like such a miserable bugger. Bet he is a good laugh really though.

Odd without the audience I agree.

Hope it does work out well for John Higgins he was always one of my preferred players.

They are trialing some crowd noise being played into the theatre but I think it's had mixed reactions from the players.

He's actually funny as you say. Very serious face but he's well known for having a laugh.

It's hard to follow but BBC are showing it on 4 different channels. BBC 1. BBC2. BBC4 and also the Red Button.

Sorry OP, But John Higgins is now back in Glasgow. He might come up on your "who's near" option.
