I'm only in the office Tuesday and Thursday.

Not seen my family since January so hoping to see them this week, especially my youngest who's expecting her first child.

I work for myself so a day sat drinking coffee, watching TV and waiting for a call out. The wife is working from home so hopefully a little fun on her lunch hour too!

"This week? I’m on a long shift today and Wednesday then have 5 days off Whatever you have planned I hope you are well and happy "

I’m very happy thanks op! First day of a two week break from work. A long walk with the pup shortly (and plenty more of those over the next fortnight), a lot of cleaning and tidying, and a trip down south to one of my favourite fab friends for a few days.

Hopefully also hosting a couple of friends for dinner too - local lockdowns permitting!

Oh - and I’m finally getting a haircut! Yay!

All in all I’m a happy Peachy

Working.

Seeing as I work with the public, and the public proving they're thick as fuck and consistently breaking lockdown rules and lacking respect for themselves and others, well, if I'm not at work I'm at home.

I don't want to be responsible for making anyone else ill, and I care about my friends and family so taking no chances.

I would never forgive myself if my lack of taking responsibility for my own actions put someone in danger.

Yes it's shit, yes it's testing, draining, frustrating and trying, but... I have discovered I don't need physical contact with others to validate me and make me feel better. My head rules my fanjo not the other way round.

On a mooch

Last day at the quiet beach, say goodbye to the family for about another 5-6 months, travel home then a week of silence letting my mind wander as I smile of memories and paths to follow in the future
