I don't hunt.

I prefer a mutual crossing of paths.

I think making connections anywhere other than online is going to be difficult with social distancing in place and in place for the foreseeable.

Either or for me. I used to get given a phone number or asked for mine at least once a month at work.

I think that it depends on the type of “pull”. Hook ups are pretty easy imo. There’s plenty of guys on the prowl for some action. But if you are looking to date and find your Mr right, I think that is a trickier task. But it all depends on who your Mr right is I suppose.

I tend to find it easier to meet people via the internet in general.

When I’m out I prefer to focus on whatever social event I’m at, partly because I’m useless at picking up early signals that someone’s interested in me. Partly because it feels like a waste of time as I’m usually there/out for a reason, e.g Seeing friends.

Oh gosh. ALL of my friends and family are married, so If I go out, it's not on the pull! Plus I'm shit at picking up signals as an adult. As a teenager I did just fine.

Also, there seems more open appreciation on here for chunky birds than out in the real world

Definitely easier in person, most of the times I go out I pull tbh, case in point last weekend. 2 numbers, 1 one night stand, first weekend out in a party like atmosphere since the lockdown because of the pandemic.

Fab hmm. Hmm, still waiting lol, nah I've had a couple of meets, couple of canceled meets, but I prefer the one to one.

Then to and yes I'm being a bit cocky or very confident, I just need to walk in a room most times and I get hit on by women constantly lol. I rarely have to ask for numbers, a dance, sex anything like that.

Tbh, I only joined fab because I couldn't go out to pubs and clubs lol.

In reality you could extend this to online vs real life (pub, club, etc).

In modern life for many reasons it’s easier online: people have busy lives and online is convenient.

Another reason is age profile. Look at the average age of people on fab - tend to be above 25. As people get older clubs tend to be ruled out for most as it’s usually younger people there and pubs can be difficult as your friends that you go on the pull with are married or in long term relationships and are not available.

And lastly, lots of people are naturally shy in real life or find it awkward to strike up a conversation, so chatting on here (or other online sites) is a real ice breaker for some and leaves the initial meet easier.

Now if we could only do something about the 15:1 ratio of men:women on fab we’d have it licked! (No pun intended... well maybe )

I think alot of women are scared off instantly on fab, you have to be mentally tough as old bootw to cope with the contents. Most of my female friends are too nervous to go online and chat. So rely on meeting men through work, hobbies or through friendship circles

That is my opinion for women on here. It's certainly not the case for me online because I can only chat with who messages me and I hardly if ever get any messages.. So no choice at all.
