Not seen it yet - I’ll watch it a little later

Quite a step for space exploration and I’m sure Elon Musk must be elated

I think we're 15 years off of Mars unfortunately. Personally I think we won't see a human on the moon for at least 7 years.

It's encouraging to see more private firms getting involved in Space Exploration, it's the only way for it to really open it up and speed up the innovation required.

Still one of my dreams to go to the moon...

I agree to an extent, but i feel like if other countries start making progress like China for example it may encourage the US companies to innovate at a faster rate. Or I think once renewable rockets come into play alot of capital can be redirected into making mars a reality but both are best case scenarios rather than realistic situation

I've been fairly blinkered for the last few months and had no idea this was a thing

Good landing..

Being old enough to remember Apollo landings it looked like a softer impact. Excellent result.

I'm interested to see if all this develops fast enough.

Somewhere, in a dark corner of space there will be two aliens watching this... 'oh look, humanity is having another go at extra terrestrial excursions'...

Watched it live up to exit of astronauts from Endeavour spacecraft. Great that they took extra time to make sure residual fumes dissipated. The private boats swarming toward the capsule after splashdown were concerning.

Congratulations on the excellent achievement!

I’ve just watched the NASA footage on YouTube. What am amazing moment in history! Must have been a very emotional moment for all those closely associated with the mission.

What a work day entail after that I wonder ..... a difficult act to follow

Truly a moment in history for space exploration. Next holiday? Fly me to the moon?
