I've recently noticed that when we received messages lately that within a few days the people have hidden their profiles, or have become friends on here then have hidden their profiles. Is this a common thing?

Yeah be wary of who you accept an friend invite from as many just want to see all of your pictures. Keep the inner circle small

I regularly hide my profile. In fact, I'm hidden now. It's really hard to keep a conversation I'm interested in going if I'm also getting messages from other folk! I'd take it as a compliment.

Play time game and dont add friends too quickly. Those who are just after friends only photos will get bored quickly of the effort they have to put in pursuing you.

I’ve noticed a lot more hidden profiles lately, maybe just nerves as things ease off in the real world a bit people are unsure?

Bit annoying to be winked/messaged or have a random friend request from a hidden profile though

Yes it's a common fab thing. Each have a reason to do so I guess.

I hide mine when I know I'm not gonna be online for a while but that's it.

Can always play hide and seek?

I’ve hidden mine a few times, especially when I’m getting too many ‘meet now’ or ‘fancy a fuck’ messages. Admittedly since lockdown these have died down significantly but I also highlight on my status that I’m not meeting.

If I was communicating with someone, especially if I was intending to meet after lockdown I wouldn’t hide my profile then.
