Fabbers

Have you noticed how many statuses there are for advertising sexual meets, in hotels, one to one etc?

What are the Fab rules on this?

Supposedly not permitted and should be reported (so that FAB can ignore it)

People make their own choices. We don't have to agree with aporove of or worry overmuch about those choices unless they have some relevance to our own lives....

What a strange comment. It does have relevance to our lives. It’s possibly spreading a virus further....

Don’t think the rule breakers are kicked off the site though.

There's a pic in Hot Photos that is obviously not socially distanced, is not pre covid as evidenced by their recent statuses, but the pic is still there. Not enough consistency.

Point missed?

We are only ever responsible for our own actions, not the actions of others, irrespective of whether we agree or not with the actions of others....

It is a conundrum for an open liberal democracy.

Think about the alternative of an enforced lockdown - like China - and how much people would kick back against that.

The government's strategy will already have built into it an acknowledgement that not everyone will follow the rules.

The lockdowns are only about slowing the spread of the virus so other measures can be in place.

This virus could very well be with us for a long time - and become as ubiquitous as flu (which is also a killer). How long you put parts of your life on hold is for you alone to decide.

Life is about risk - driving your car carries a risk but because driving is 'normalised' most people don't consider the risk.

COVID is just another risk.

In our local area, there have been no new cases in over 6 weeks.

How about we allow consenting adults to make their own decisions and mitigate their own risks...

I agree life is a risk but have you seen the videos of someone dying of Covid? It’s no fun. Now I wonder if will you risk Covid?

I asked for Fab rules on meeting. No mention of bareback in my opening post. If you don’t like the topic then please pass by.

Not at the moment.

But the government also knows the longer it goes on for the less people will be prepared to put their lives, or parts of their lives, on hold. Which is why they have moved to local lockdowns and looking at how to manage it without another national lockdown.

At some point I will accept the risk. And so will many others.

"At some point I will accept the risk. And so will many others."

Precisely, we must mitigate our own risks

Each person or couple should decide when that will be for themselves, vilifying peoples choices get us nowhere.
