Motorists caught middle-lane hogging, tailgating or using the wrong lane on a round-about could soon be handed a £90 spot fine and three penalty points.

Me too! Nearly got killed by a middle lane hogger the other day when he took offence at being overtaken by a girl in a crappy car! He decided to throw his puma into a space not big enough for a smart car just to get back ahead of me then slammed his brakes on!!!

Guess which one of us had a car full of kids so should have been more responsible!!!

Bloody hell Tempting....some people shouldn't be in charge of a car.

I hate to say it though, but I do a fair bit of motorway driving and the middle lane hoggers seem to be a lot of women and old men.

Oh no what am I going to do it was my entertainment whenever on the motorway , screaming at the middle lane hoggers.

Seriously though glad about that especially roundabout bit as I saw 2 cars nearly wipe each other out last week cos one was in wrong lane

A friend of mine has just passed her CBT, and despite there being a compulsory road driving part, she has no idea what lane to use when going round a roundabout. So she is currently road legal on a brand new Vespa with no idea how to use roads.

They may as well send a £90 fine to all Honda owners as they seem to be high on the list of people who I've seen do this!

id love it if there was a minimum speed limit on the motorways too as slow driving can be just as dangerous
