If it's nice ham it doesn't need anything other than thickly sliced white crusty bread and proper butter

shits creek

Open the fresh packet then hold breath and run.

Wait for the smell of fart to disperse before continuing.

I do like a crusty loaf. Prefer sunflower spread to butter, I know ... I'm a heathen

When I was a kid..was a slice of bread...we'd never heard of butter..that slice of bread would be folded over with a dab of mustard .. we were told to close our eyes bite the bread and mustard..and dream of the taste of the ham..

When things were really bad we were just given the spoon to lick the mustard off..

Lightly Toasted bread, smeared with bechamel.

Ham on, topped with comte cheese plash of Worcester sauce sprinkle of dried oregano.

Back under the grill then cut down the middle and folded.

Technically it’s a cheese and ham But still nice

That sounds good but can you change the ham into crispy bacon

The tomato into grilled cheddar cheese and change the French mustard into a fried egg.

Lovely fresh sourdough bread, lots of proper butter, spread marmite, and add babybel, then feed the ham to the dog and voila ...

Carver ham with crisp lettuce and cucumber a little ploughman’s pickle between thick slices of uncut seedy white bread with butter.....and let’s not forget a nice cup of tea to accompany.

Swindon

Would have to be thick multi seed bread, slightly toasted. Olive spread on on side. Then thick cut baked ham with a little cheese and sliced chicken with a nice splurge of wholegrain mustard.

perth

Start by baking a ham joint. Once that's done, & cooled, slice it nice and thick and put it on buttered, homemade, crusty bread with a smear of wholegrain mustard or some homemade onion marmalade.
